Market Link Auctions

A market built on verified participation.

Market Link Auctions connects asset owners with qualified, identity-verified bidders through transparent, real-time online auctions. Every price on the platform is the result of open competition, recorded by the system rather than negotiated in private.

Why the platform exists

High-value, non-standard assets are still traded through closed networks.

Intellectual property portfolios, purchasing contracts, mineral rights and carbon credit units rarely have an open venue where price is discovered publicly. Deals are brokered privately, valuations depend on who happens to be in the room, and the seller has no way of proving the price achieved was the best the market would pay.

Market Link Auctions replaces that with a scheduled, rules-based auction. Sellers publish the asset, the terms and the closing time. Verified bidders compete in the open. The platform, not either party, determines the outcome, and the full sequence of accepted bids is retained as evidence of how the price was reached.

What we auction

Four categories, each with its own documentation expectations.

Intellectual property
Patents, patent families, trademarks, registered designs, software and licensing portfolios, sold with the registration numbers, jurisdictions and renewal status attached to the lot.
Purchasing contracts
Procurement, supply and offtake agreements offered to the market, including descending-price tenders where the lowest qualifying bid wins the award.
Mineral rights
Exploration and extraction interests, presented with tenement identifiers, area, permit stage and any conditions carried by the right.
Carbon credits
Verified environmental units, listed with the registry, vintage year, methodology and serial ranges so buyers can confirm the units before bidding.

How we protect both sides

Trust is enforced in the system, not promised in the marketing.

Identity verification
No account can bid until a government-issued identity document and a proof of address have been reviewed and approved by our compliance team. Rejections carry a written reason.
Server-authoritative bidding
Bids are validated inside a single locked database transaction against the authoritative server clock. A browser cannot bid past a closing time, bid below the increment, or bid twice on one click.
Append-only bid history
Bids can never be edited or withdrawn. An administrator may invalidate a bid only with a recorded reason, and the original record remains in the audit trail.
Anti-sniping extensions
A bid accepted inside the final two minutes extends the lot by two more minutes, up to ten times, so a late bid cannot win purely on timing.
Bidder anonymity
Competing bidders see amounts and timestamps but never each other's identities. Winning prices after close are visible only to the seller, the winner and administrators.
Full audit trail
Verification decisions, listing releases, price changes, cancellations and emergency actions are all written to an audit log with the actor, the time and the reason.

Money, tax and premiums

One currency, one calculation, done server-side.

All auctions are conducted in Philippine pesos. Winning totals are computed in the database using exact decimal arithmetic — never in the browser — and are made up of the winning bid, value-added tax and the buyer's premium. Platform defaults are 12% tax and a 5% buyer's premium; individual lots may carry different figures, and the exact amounts applying to a lot are always shown on the lot page before you bid.
